    TECHNICAL INFORMATION

        Our invention: new 3D technology.

The 3D Mission, Inc. has invented a method for generating an autostereoscopic, polychromatic, three-dimensional still or moving image of superior quality, the image having all four physiological depth perception cues, as previously described viewable without the use of visual aids such as “3D” spectacles or other devices used or worn by the viewer. The present invention further provides viewing capabilities for an unlimited number of viewers concurrently and provides freedom of movement for each individual viewer.

The present invention utilizes an economical component scheme of non-moving parts with no requirement for complex, formulaic functions or equipment.

On our display each pixel radiates a given directional and color distribution of light (“3D Pixel”). It allows to reproduce light distribution from any 3D scene.

        What makes a 3D pixel?

      • 3D Pixel consists of: 2D image on a transparent slide (#20),
        Lens (#21), Aperture (#3)
      • 2D image is backlit by parallel light (#4)
      • Every pixel on a 2D image represents a certain direction
      • Result: full control of color and intensity for all directions

        What makes a 3D display?

      • Computer generated integral image
      • Lens Array
      • Aperture screen
      • Parallel light source

        What makes a 3D image?

      • Proprietary software that generates 3D Integral Image
