About the project

      3DMission is a project that aims to create a new generation of three-dimensional displays. It is based on an innovative technology that was patented in 2009. Our displays allow to show computer modeled objects in three dimensions just as one would see them in real life. Our displays can show objects appearing in front of the screen or behind it.

    The 3D Mission project started in 2005 and for five years of its existence succeeded in

    • invention of a new method to build a 3D display.
    • receiving a patent that protects the rights of authors of this invention (Patent No. US 7,492,513 B2, Feb.17, 2009)
    • development of the software that allows to produce a set of plane images to be transformed to 3D image and an optical system that allows that transformation to happened.
    • construction of a prototype that demonstrates the three-dimensional objects observed in a wide angle view, in both vertical and horizontal dimensions.
